In a converted garage outside Gothenburg, Elin Rask makes about forty pieces a month. We would like all of them.

She does not sell online. There is a list, and the list is long, and she works through it in the order it arrived.
The glazes are the reason: a bone white that goes almost grey in low light, and a brown she describes only as "wet stone".
"I am not interested in perfect," she says. "I am interested in things you want to hold."
We put a jug on a table in an ordinary kitchen and everything around it improved.
